Cookies Policy

  1. General
    • This Cookies Policy applies to visitors and/or users of the Technotest network website (the “Company”), which it operates and manages at: https://www.technotest.co.il/ (the “User” or “Users”, and the “Website”, respectively).
    • The Company uses cookies and similar technologies such as pixels, dedicated links containing unique identifiers operated by the Company’s service providers, and other comparable technologies (collectively, the “Cookies”), both within and outside the Website. These are used for the proper and ongoing operation of the Website, for the provision of the services offered and/or provided by the Company (the “Services”), and/or for the purposes detailed below.
    • The Company collects non-identifiable information about Users through the use of Cookies. Without derogating from the foregoing, if a User chooses to provide personally identifiable information to the Company, whether on or off the Website, such information may be linked to the non-identifiable information collected about that User by the Company.
    • For the avoidance of doubt, the collection of information about the User may also take place outside the Website, for example, as part of advertisements or mailings sent by the Company to the User, including communications sent to external email addresses provided by the User, as further detailed in Section 2 below (the “Mailing” and “Collection of Information via Mailing”, respectively).
      [Please indicate whether tracking technologies are also used within email communications.]
    • For the avoidance of doubt, nothing herein shall derogate from the requirement that the sending of advertisements to the User will be carried out in accordance with applicable law and subject to obtaining the User’s consent, where such consent is required by law.
    • This Policy sets out information regarding the manner in which Cookies technology is used as described above.
    • Any browsing of the Website, use of the Website, or attempt to use the Website and/or the Services offered by the Company (including use of such Services outside the Website, for example by accessing a mailing sent by the Company) (the “Use”) constitutes the User’s consent to the use of Cookies for the purposes set out in this Policy and for the purposes detailed in the Privacy Policy available at “Privacy Policy”, which forms an integral part of this Policy (the “Privacy Policy”).
    • If the User does not agree to the terms of the Privacy Policy, the User must refrain from using the Website. Alternatively, the User may contact the Company using the contact details provided below so that we may assist them through alternative means.
    • For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in this document shall derogate from the provisions set forth in the Privacy Policy and/or the Terms of Use.

  2. What Are Cookies and What Information Is Collected Through Them?
    • Cookies may consist of small text files and/or other technologies (such as dedicated links with unique identifiers, pixels, and similar tools) that enable the collection of information via Users’ devices or web browsers. Such information may include, among other things: the pages visited by the User on the Website; actions performed by the User on the Website; the duration of the User’s visit; content viewed by the User; approximate geographic location; the User’s age range; the type of device used to access the Website (e.g., computer, mobile phone, tablet); the User’s areas of interest; the User’s IP address (i.e., the User’s device address on the Internet); the number of visits to the Website; the number of clicks; screen resolution; operating system type and version; web browser type, version, and language preferences; domain names, and additional similar information.
    • In the case of information collected through mailings, the Company may collect, via Cookies and/or other technologies, additional information, including: the time at which a mailing sent by the Company to the User was opened; whether such mailing was opened; the number of times the mailing was opened; information regarding the User’s access to the Website and/or to other websites linked within the mailing—such as whether such access occurred and when, which pages on those websites were visited, and the duration of such visits; the content within the mailing in which the User expressed interest and/or on which the User clicked; the services (including products) presented in the mailing in which the User expressed interest and/or other services in which the User showed interest following the mailing (including within the aforementioned websites); the device and/or application through which the mailing was accessed; as well as analysis of the foregoing information and/or data derived therefrom, including data that may indicate the User’s purchasing and consumption habits, areas of interest, preferences, and more.

      • To present the User with content and advertisements on the Website as well as outside the Website (for example, across the internet and on advertising platforms such as Google, Meta (Facebook), and TikTok) that may be of interest to them and/or tailored to their preferences, and for the purposes of measurement, attribution, and optimization of advertising campaigns;
      • To analyze, research, and perform monitoring in connection with the operation of the Website;
      • To monitor activity patterns on the Website;
      • To perform measurements, analytics, and statistical analysis, including calculating the number of Users on the Website, counting page views, identifying errors, and improving the user experience;

  1. Use of Information Collected Through Mailings
    • In particular, with respect to information collected through mailings as described above, and without derogating from the foregoing and/or from the Privacy Policy, the Company may use such information in order to tailor advertisements and/or mailings presented to Users based on their preferences, characteristics, and additional data collected regarding their browsing and consumption habits, including, inter alia, across advertising platforms, through the channels to which mailings are sent, and on other websites.
    • Without derogating from the generality of the foregoing, it is clarified that the Company collects information through mailings in order to tailor to the User the mailings sent to them and/or the services and/or products offered to them and/or the advertisements presented to them as part of the Website, the mailings, and/or third-party websites, including for the purpose of customizing the timing of delivery, the content, the subject line, and/or the design of such mailings.
    • In addition, the aforementioned information is collected for the purpose of generating analyses and/or statistical and/or other processing, for research purposes, and for the improvement of the services and/or products and/or mailings provided by the Company to the User and/or to other third parties.

  1. Transfer of Information to Third Parties

Without derogating from the foregoing and from the provisions set out in the Privacy Policy, the Company may transfer non-identifiable information and/or online identifiers to third-party advertising platforms such as Google, Meta (Facebook), and TikTok, in order to present the User with personalized content and advertisements that may be of interest to them and/or tailored to their preferences, and for the purposes of measurement and attribution of advertising campaigns.

  1. Transfer of Information from Mailings to Service Providers
    • Without derogating from the foregoing and from the provisions set out in the Privacy Policy, the Company may transfer information collected as part of the collection of information through mailings to providers of advertising, mailing, and marketing services and/or to providers of user communication services, including service providers engaged in the optimization and analysis of such mailings.
    • In addition, the Company may transfer such information to third parties whose platforms are used by the Company for the provision of services, marketing and sale of services, and/or management of its relationship with Users, including providers of email management services (such as Gmail). The use of such platforms by the User shall be subject to, and governed by, the respective privacy policies of those platforms, as updated from time to time and made available on their websites.
    • The transfer of information as set out in this section shall be for the purposes specified in Section 4 above.
  2. Analytics and Statistical Services
    • The Company uses third-party analytics, statistical analysis, and research services, such as Google Analytics.
    • The use of Google Analytics services is subject to the Google Analytics Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Information regarding the data collected במסגרת these services, the purposes for which it is used, methods for disabling Cookies, and more, can be found in the Google Analytics Privacy Policy available at the following link: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
      .
  3. Right to Refuse and Disable Cookies
    • The User acknowledges that they are under no legal obligation to consent to the collection of Cookies, and that such collection is subject to their free will and consent. By browsing the Website, the User provides their consent to this Policy and agrees that the Company may place Cookies on the computer/device from which the User accesses the Website.
    • A User who does not wish Cookies to be collected on their device may prevent the collection of some of them by modifying the settings in their browser. For this purpose, the User should consult the browser’s help file.
    • In addition, the Website may present questions or selection fields that allow the User to indicate their preferences regarding the use of non-essential Cookies and/or tracking technologies, such as Cookies, in order to “remember” the User’s information (for example, login identifiers or an email address) upon the User’s next visit to the Website.
    • For the avoidance of doubt, refusal to the collection of Cookies, in whole or in part, may result in certain services and/or parts thereof being unavailable or impaired, and/or may adversely affect the quality and/or convenience of browsing the Website and/or its ability to be tailored to the User’s preferences.
    • In any event, and without derogating from the foregoing, it is clarified that strictly necessary Cookies, which are essential for the operation, management, and security of the Website and/or for the provision of the Services, cannot be disabled.
    • In addition, if the User chooses to delete existing Cookies (where deletion is possible) from the device used to access the Website, it is recommended that they do so only if they are certain that they do not wish the Website and/or the Services to be tailored to their preferences. Since Cookies may, in some cases, eliminate the need for the User to re-enter usernames and passwords, it is advisable not to delete them unless the User has ensured that all necessary login details have been securely recorded elsewhere. For the avoidance of doubt, such deletion does not affect information that has already been stored through Cookies by the Company and/or by third parties.

  4. Retention and Storage Period of Information Collected Through Cookies

Information collected through Cookies is retained for varying periods, depending on the type of Cookie and the settings of the relevant provider—some are deleted at the end of the session, while others are stored for a defined period (as detailed in the table above). Upon expiration, the Cookie is deleted from the device or ceases to be valid, in accordance with browser settings and provider configurations; however, information collected through Cookies may continue to be retained by the Company and/or by third parties in accordance with their respective privacy policies and applicable law.

  1. Jurisdiction

The terms and provisions set forth in this Policy, as well as any amendments or modifications thereto, shall be governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Exclusive jurisdiction in connection with any dispute and/or claim arising out of or relating to this Policy shall be vested in the competent courts of Tel Aviv–Jaffa.

  1. Changes and Updates

The Company may, at its sole discretion, amend the Cookies Policy from time to time without the need to provide prior notice or notification. The updated Policy as published on the Website shall be binding on the User. The User’s continued use of the Website following any update to the Cookies Policy shall constitute their acceptance of the updated Policy, including any changes.

  1. Contact Us

If the User has any questions or comments regarding this Cookies Policy, they are invited to contact the Company via the “Contact Us” page on the Website, or by phone at: *8772.
